EDITOR'S LETTER

Throughout our time reading submissions and putting together issues, my editorial team and I have noticed how many of the works we publish pertain to the themes of race, identity, and social justice. Emerging Suns is a special tribute to both past and new works published in Pluvia that encapsulate those themes. Through this special anthology, we hope to celebrate the diverse identities we publish and give them the chance to flourish; we hope to continue working towards our mission of uplifting both emerging and established artists along with emphasizing BIPOC and underrepresented artists. By expanding the creative arts community together, my team and I hope to cultivate an environment where art and writing can bloom as paths to self-expression and social change, growing the sun that illuminates our path toward a more equitable and beautiful horizon.
